About the Job:

As a Back-End NestJS Developer, you will play a critical role in architecting and implementing secure, scalable backend services and APIs that power our applications. Working alongside developers and stakeholders across our distributed team, you will contribute to a collaborative and solution-oriented engineering culture. Your work will involve analyzing business needs, designing efficient service architectures, and delivering backend solutions aligned with complex client objectives and technical requirements. You will participate in system design, data modeling, and backend consulting to ensure our platforms remain reliable, high-performing, and aligned with overall project goals.   What You’ll Get to Do: • Develop and maintain backend applications using NestJS and TypeScript. • Design scalable and secure RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs. • Implement database models, queries, and migrations with SQL or NoSQL databases. • Write efficient, reusable, well-documented, and testable server-side code. • Collaborate with front-end developers and product teams to deliver end-to-end features. • Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and reliability. • Participate in code reviews, architecture planning, and best-practice adoption.

What You’ll Bring with You: • Degree in Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any type), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics or related discipline

• 2–5+ years of backend development experience. • Strong proficiency with NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript. • Experience with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. • Knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks (JWT, OAuth2). • Familiarity with microservices, modular architecture, or monorepos. • Experience building RESTful or GraphQL APIs. • Understanding of Git, testing frameworks, and CI/CD workflows. • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) Frameworks and Defect Life Cycle Process • Background in financial services or Energy a plus
