As a Senior Backend Developer give support to the Technical Lead & Junior developers, you will be a trusted partner to the business in developing a roadmap to ensure the delivery of technology solutions. You will contribute to the transformation and growth by building high performing IT teams and continuously evolving the platforms that support our business.

We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and services to support mission-critical applications.
• Implement and enforce best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization.
• Mentor junior developers, fostering high-performing agile and DevOps teams.
• Work together our “technical leads” helping them in the adoption of modern backend architecture.
• You will be Accountable for execution teams inside the product: Software delivery​, best practices

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Highly experienced Backend Developer with more than 7 years in IT, specializing in designing and implementing scalable backend solutions, optimizing technical processes, and leading development teams.
• Strong background in financial services and investment banking technology, with hands-on expertise in modern backend architectures, data streaming, and cloud-native solutions.
• Adept at translating business requirements into robust, secure, and efficient software systems.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or similar.
• Master's degree in finance, business or data science would be an asset.
• Fluent English, C2 desirable (work is largely in English) and fluency on Spanish or Polish would be an asset.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience working with Agile and DevOps delivery teams.
•  Experience managing developers and implementing strategies on code review, pull requests, ....
• Knowledge of latest software architecture (e.g., public cloud, hybrid cloud, microservice architecture).
• Hands-on experience with streaming big data technologies (Kafka streams, Java, MongoDB, Elastic).
• Strong interpersonal and proactive communication skills, ensuring transparency and alignment.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Knowledge of Investment Banking Products and Wholesale Banking.
• Ability to organize team and prioritize tasks within the sprint.
