Senior Avionics Test Engineer

What You´ll Do

• Test Development: Designing and executing comprehensive test cases, scenarios, and procedures for avionics (sub-)systems and integration, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
• System Setup: Designing, commissioning, and maintaining test rigs and laboratories for electrical systems, including high-voltage, high-power systems.
• Troubleshooting: Extensive hands-on experience debugging electrical cabinets, wiring, and avionics instrumentation.
• Automation & Instrumentation: Utilizing tools like Matlab/Simulink or LabVIEW (National Instruments) to automate testing, including interfacing with CAN, RS422/485, Ethernet, and USB.
• Compliance: Ensuring systems meet aerospace or military standards as required

Requirements:
What You’ll Need

• 7+ years in aerospace test laboratories, with experience in at least one new aircraft or launch vehicle program.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong leadership required with the ability to work independently and communicate with various stakeholders with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advanced coding skills in Python, C, and C++.
• Proficient knowledge in usage and connection of Git, JIRA, TestRail, CI/CD.
• Knowledge of embedded and realtime systems
