To further expand and strengthen our team in Airport Automation we are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our team. You become part of a team dedicated to working with our CrisBag system for some of the world's largest airports. Together with the team, you’ll bring tomorrow’s automation solutions to life with immediate access to our in-house test centre for prototyping, simulation, and validation.

Play a crucial part in developing cutting-edge technology for project delivery

As Senior Automation Engineer, we expect you to act as a technical authority, identifying opportunities for enhancement in existing systems and processes. You take part in all the project phases, from specifications trough PLC programming, design, testing and commissioning. As an essential part of the role, you will participate in project definition and review meetings. Your tasks include but are not limited to:

• Developing PLC code for modules, elements, and specific solutions in our baggage handling system
• Defining the best solutions for specific projects
• Commissioning your PLC code in projects worldwide as well as testing your solutions virtually or at our test centre
• Reviewing layouts and solutions early in the process to secure the long-term success of our projects
• Mentor team members in code development, promoting best practices and knowledge-sharing
• Participating in the documentation of our solutions

Skilled Automation Engineer

• Advanced proficiency in Siemens TIA and SCL (Structured Control Language)
• Experience from a similar position with developing PLC code for project-based machines
• Solid experience within object-oriented programming
• Speak and write English fluently
