Responsibilities :

• Handling of deliveries with clearing corporation on a daily basis for India Equities market

• Generation and placing delivery instructions on the depository portals like NSDL and CDSL

• Making sure that the Payin’s are processed timely, without any failures

• Realtime Pledging and Unpledging of shares on NSDL and CDSL

• SLB management and shares return / early pay-in of shares

• Ensuring full compliance is met with regulatory requirements

• Supporting clearing and settlement processes across multiple asset classes for India Markets

• Daily reconciliation of trades and positions, and make sure that the breaks are resolved before the market opens.

• Liaising with Exchange and service vendors for troubleshooting and improvements

• Owning and resolving specific inquiries from the stakeholders and ensure timely resolution

• Preparing data for exchange audits, working on month end activities

• Completion of daily BAU task in timely manner

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of the above mentioned activities.

• A degree in Finance, Economics, or other related fields with direct experience working for India Markets

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Clearing and Settlement operations at a Brokerage Firms (PCM/TCM) serving multiple clients

• Aptitude and desire to learn new things

• Great analytical and communication skills

• High level MS Excel knowledge is a must: Comfortable with Look-ups, Pivot Tables, and Conditional Statements

• A masters in Finance would be an added advantage
