Job Description & Summary

A career within PwC's Oracle Services Practice, will provide you with the opportunity to help organizations use enterprise technology to achieve their digital technology goals and capitalize on business opportunities. We help our clients implement and effectively use Oracle offerings to solve their business problems and fuel success in the areas of finance operations, human capital management, supply chain management, reporting and analytics, and governance, risk and compliance.

In Oracle finance at PwC, you will specialise in using and managing the Oracle Financials software. Oracle Financials is an integrated financial management system that provides tools for managing financial processes, such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and more. You will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining the Oracle Finance system.

Responsibilities: 

1. Implementation & Solution Design

• Lead and/or participate in end-to-end Oracle EBS SCM implementations (greenfield / rollout / upgrade).
• Perform business requirement gathering, gap-fit analysis, and solution design.
• Configure and implement SCM modules such as:• Inventory (INV)
• Purchasing (PO)
• Order Management (OM)
• BOM / WIP (if applicable)

• Drive Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business process implementations.
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices and client requirements.

 2.Functional Expertise & Configuration

• Perform system configurations, setups, and process design across SCM modules.
• Support cross-module integrations and dependencies.
• Prepare functional design documents (BR100/MD50), configuration guides, and test scripts.

        3. Testing & Deployment

• Participate in CRP, SIT, and UAT cycles.
• Develop and execute test cases and scenarios.
• Support data migration, validation, and cutover activities.

       4. Post Go-Live & Support

• Provide hypercare and post-production support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues.
• Work closely with business stakeholders for continuous improvements.

        5. Stakeholder Engagement

• Interact with business users, IT teams, and leadership stakeholders.
• Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Deliver presentations and communicate solutions effectively.

Mandatory skill sets 

• At least one Oracle EBS SCM Certification
• At least 1–2 full lifecycle implementations in Oracle EBS.

Preferred skill sets 

• Exposure to Oracle Fusion SCM (Procurement, Inventory, OM, etc.) will be a strong advantage.
• Experience in both implementation and support projects preferred

Year of experience required 

• 5 – 8 years of experience in Oracle SCM domain.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS SCM.

Educational Qualification  

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from a reputed university with a strong academic background. 
• A postgraduate qualification such as MBA or PGDM in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or Operations Management will be considered an added advantage.
