About the Role

Join our fast-growing Health Industries – R&D & Quality team to help leading pharma and biotech organizations design fit-for-purpose quality management systems and drive their digital quality transformations.

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work independently in client-facing roles, deliver high-quality outcomes, and contribute to our PwC practice through proposal writing, thought leadership & business development.

Your impact

• Deliver quality management engagements for clients across Pharma and Biotech.

• Design, implement, and optimize Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality processes across R&D, manufacturing, or commercial operations.

• · Support digital quality initiatives, including advanced analytics, digital platform implementations, and applications of AI in quality operations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current-state quality operations and develop improvement roadmaps.

• Translate process designs into technology requirements; support vendor/platform fit (Veeva platform experience is a major plus)

• Develop proposals, statements of work, and high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations and support business development efforts.

• Set up risk-based quality frameworks; implement trending/analytics for proactive issue detection.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships. Stay current on regulatory trends, industry technologies, and emerging best practices.

About you:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality management, quality consulting, or related roles.

• Background in consulting or advisory engagements is a plus.

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Scientific Degree or a related discipline.

• Strong working knowledge of GxP regulations (e.g., GCP, GLP, GMP) and quality frameworks.

• Experience in at least one of the following areas: R&D quality, manufacturing/operations quality, commercial/market quality, QMS implementations, quality process design.

• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to write compelling proposals and support business development.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements.
