Reporting to the Associate Director, Genesis, Portfolio Operations, this is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing organization in Financial Services.
You Will:
• Operate and oversee reconciliation technology to provide a Gross NAV to all our clients including cash, position, unsettled trade and accrued interest reconciliations, primarily serving the Bank Debt book of business
• Ensure trade processing is complete, credit activity has been booked correctly, agent notices have been reviewed, and security definitions and pricing is accurate. Take other necessary actions to ensure client portfolio is constructed when required
• Ensure a good knowledge of loans including private and syndicated loans, delayed draws and revolvers
• Oversee any PL anomalies, identify the reasons and solve the problems
• Utilise Markit, Clearpar and WSO in completing full reconciliations
• Maintain a good relationship with client contacts and respond to client queries
• Ensure SLAs are strictly followed, proactively escalate any potential problems
• Work with custodians and other third-parties on an ongoing basis and provide feedback to management
• Communicate any operational issues and arise to the Associate Director
• Take the responsibility of being the point of operations contact for the allocated funds
• Manage the new client onboarding processes, make sure the intake process is completed with the highest available standards
• Respond to audit queries
• Oversight of reconciliation and data transmission technology
• Strictly follow MUFG standards, procedures and controls while performing the job
You Have:
· University degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Math, Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience in bank debt within the funds industry
· Strong understanding of market practices, accounting methods and P&L calculations of securities such as equities, bonds, forwards, futures, options & OTC products
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office Products
· Geneva system knowledge an advantage
· Passion to improve processes and increase efficiency
· Creativity in exploring solutions to improve daily operational efficiency
