Role Purpose

· Liaise with investment managers and auditors for day-to-day operational issues.

· Participate in various system improvement initiatives.

· Prepare or co-ordinate all client financial reporting deliverables and associated reports as required.

· Work with internal teams, to ensure all internal and external deliverables are met.

 

Role and Responsibilities

· Assist in developing and improving financial reporting processes.

· Build and maintain a strong relationship with clients, vendors and audit firms.

· Develop an understanding of the financial reporting environment.

· Ensure all processes are performed in accordance with operational procedures and controls and all relevant checklists are completed.

· Keep up to date with and apply applicable regulations and accounting standards.

· Prepare financial statement pro forma, roll forwards, workings and drafts.

· Respond to various stakeholder queries in a comprehensive and timely manner.

· Take on ad-hoc tasks as required.

Education Requirements

· Post-secondary education with a concentration in finance, accounting, mathematics or related fields.

· Ideally studying towards a relevant professional qualification in ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or CF

Professional Experience

Have 1-3 years’ experience in a financial reporting role.
