As a Senior Fund Accountant in Private Debt, you'll manage accounting and financial reporting for private debt funds. You'll review financial statements, analyze transactions, ensure compliance, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with other departments. Ideal candidates have a strong accounting and finance background, private debt investment experience, and excellent communication and analytical skills.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Client Delivery, you will:

• Prepare reconciliations of cash, positions, and accruals of client funds managed within the team
• Prepare pricing of portfolios ensuring all holdings are priced observing the applicable fund documents and valuation policies
• Prepare capital call and distribution calculation and allocation
• Prepare fee schedules including calculation of management and waterfall, ensuring all calculations observe applicable fund documents
• Prepare Investor allocations for each NAV cycle ensuring capital transactions are booked correctly and P&L is allocated correctly
• Prepare NAV packages and other ad hoc deliverables as defined in the service level agreements
• Complete other ad hoc requests and projects
• Communicate with internal MUFG teams and external clients, ensuring all deliverables and requests are met
• Prepare audited Financial Statements, audit, and other regulatory services, as applicable

This is a backfill position

• Some years of experience working in the fund administration industry ideally in private equity or real estate
• University Degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
• Understanding of basic private equity or real estate operation
• Experience working with Investran is preferred, but not essential
• Advanced investigative skills
