At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.

In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion.

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

As part of the Core Assurance - AC Kuala Lumpur team, you are expected to engage in audit services and maintain compliance with accounting standards. As a Senior Associate you are expected to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain rigorous standards. You are expected to focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context.

• Although a credential is not required to be hired at this level, it will be required to progress to Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting OR Chartered Accountant or equivalent (such as ICAEW/ACCA / MICPA-CAANZ / Certified Public Accountant Australia)

• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

• Possess good leadership skills and demonstrate resilience

• Able to demonstrate ability to interact with people of different backgrounds and build meaningful relationships

• Able to demonstrate analytical thinking and business acumen

• Minimum Years of Experience: At least 3 years experience in auditing

• Oral and written proficiency in English required
