Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Participation in the SAP 4/Hana Digital Finance implementation project (LUCA) targeted to unify METRO SAP FI systems globally
• Responsible for all R2R functional project tasks for General Ledger, especially around Fixed Assets

• Responsibility for design of accounting and reporting of Fixed Assets in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements
• Ensuring correctness of postings in the Fixed Asset subledger and alignment with the General Ledger
• Ensuring cross-project cooperation to support E2E CAPEX flow
• Responsible for system testing and coordination of proper defect resolution by implementation partner
• Participation in system and process improvement initiatives, including testing and implementation of SAP solutions related to Fixed Assets
• Supporting audit processes (internal and external) and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards

Skill set & experience profile:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent education
• Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience in accounting, with strong expertise in Fixed Assets
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP in the area of fixed assets and CAPEX
• Strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel and solid knowledge of SAP
• Experience in process improvements or participation in finance transformation projects will be an advantage
• Advanced English skills, both written and spoken
• Openness to learning and mentoring junior colleagues
