Job Description
We are seeking a Senior ASIC Automation Engineer to enhance design infrastructure and automation for complex GPU modules. You will define the hardware compartmentalization strategy, build scalable flows, and apply AI-driven automation to improve efficiency and reliability.
What you'll be doing:
• Own IP-level compartmentalization within the GPU Memory Sub-System, ensuring smooth integration and clear, well-defined interfaces between modules.
• Work with front-end IP and integration teams on infrastructure, build, and flow topics, resolving flow-related issues across the design.
• Identify and define metrics/KPIs to measure build dependencies between units/compartments, and use these insights to drive flow and infrastructure improvements.
• Develop and maintain tools and automation flows to reduce manual effort and improve team productivity.
• Apply AI techniques (e.g., agents, prompt engineering, workflow orchestration) to diagnose issues and enhance design and verification workflows.
What we need to see:
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Strong experience with build/flow automation and solid skills in industry-standard scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Makefile or similar).
• Solid understanding of ASIC/SoC concepts and front-end design or verification flows, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
• Proven experience in process automation or efficiency improvement, able to identify bottlenecks and propose practical, data-driven solutions.
• Excellent communication skills; strong spoken English and effective cross-team collaboration are significant pluses.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
• Experience building or using AI agents for engineering workflows, including prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with dependency management or foundational concepts in large hardware development projects.
