Ultimate Renovations is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in shaping high-end residential renovations while collaborating with a talented design and production team.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in guiding projects from concept through to production—bringing client visions to life through thoughtful design, technical expertise, and mentorship. With over 45 years of experience delivering exceptional renovations, we take pride in the creativity, care, and expertise behind every project.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will:

• Lead the development of technical drawings and 3D renderings from initial concepts through to finalized production documents
• Collaborate closely with the design and production teams to translate renovation goals, site conditions, and client needs into buildable solutions
• Oversee and review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project scope and building code requirements
• Mentor and support junior technologists, providing guidance and feedback to elevate team performance
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
• Coordinate and prepare Building and Development Permit applications
• Identify potential design or constructability challenges early and propose practical solutions

What We’re Looking For

On your resume, we’ll be looking for:

• A technical certification in Architectural Technologies from a recognized institution
• 5+ years of design and drafting experience, with strong residential renovation experience
• Advanced proficiency with Chief Architect software
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and building codes
• Proven experience leading projects and collaborating across design and production teams
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy
• Customer-facing experience and site measurement experience (strong asset)
