Senior Architect (Broadcast Technologies)

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks

• At least 4 year of experience in Web services: Understanding of Web services and SOA architecture.

• At least 4 year of experience in Linux with troubleshooting and debugging system issues.

• At least 3 year of experience in Databases such as on SQL, Oracle databases.

• Preferred to have Video domain experience,knowledge of broadcast technology and OTT services, with exposure to MPEG video and standards such as HLS, DASH.

• At least 3 years’ experience in Broadcast Technologies & standards (RF, automation, ad insertion, MPEG, H.264, DRM)

• At least 2 years experience with automated test tools such as Selenium or ITKO Lisa

• At least 1 year of expereince with the following:

•Experience in reviewing project specifications and working with other organizations (both within and outside of Engineering) to understand the systems requirements of the project, including the system architecture, design, internal and external interfaces, use cases, etc.

• Generating system test plans to validate system requirements and functionality as documented in the system specifications.

• Developing test scenarios and generating test procedures to properly and rigorously test the system requirements and functionality.

• Performing software integration and troubleshooting of multiple applications involved in the projects under test.

• Executing tests to validate the requirements and functionality per the project specifications as detailed in the test procedures.

• Identifying, analyzing, and documenting any defects discovered during testing.

• Working with the development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Generating test reports to document all test results.

• Performing regression testing as needed for current Broadcast Systems projects

• A successful candidate must be able to work under limited technical supervision. Duties may also include defining and/or developing test tools and simulators as necessary to streamline testing process.

• Industry standards, models & best practices (ISO 9000, IEEE, CMMI,IETF ,ITIL , SCRUM)

• At least 6 years of experience in software development life cycle.

• At least 6 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in Design and architecture review.

• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

• Analytical skills

• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

•Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
