Your Impact
Providing technical and project management leadership on projects with an aquatic biology focus.
Understanding environmental Best Management Practices and advising clients accordingly.
Managing, planning, and leading aquatic projects.
Managing tasks and projects according to approved scopes of works and deliver quality reports on schedule.
Liaising with Indigenous communities, partners, client representatives, regulators, contractors, and sub‑contractors.
Providing quality and independent reviews for projects.
Providing an understanding of environmental Best Management Practices and advise clients accordingly.
Providing mentorship and training for our environmental professional team.
Leading technical teams to ensure the quality, cost‑effectiveness, and timeliness of project deliverables.
Creating project status reports and maintain project documentation.
Working collaboratively within the Triton corporate culture.
Your Skills & Experience
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in biology, environmental science, or related field
Technical knowledge in aquatics and fisheries biology
Professional biologist designation or eligibility is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of aquatic field work experience.
Strong understanding of the Federal Fisheries Act and other Federal and Provincial environmental legislation.
Strong technical writing, reporting, communication, team leadership and project management skills
Experience with environmental monitoring and/or environmental inspection
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working style
Solutions oriented with a pragmatic approach to project execution.

This position is based in our Edmonton office and site travel may be required on an as needed basis.
