Senior AQA Engineer (Playwright / TypeScript)

Join us as a Senior QA Engineer to architect the quality infrastructure of a next-generation platform for cancer diagnostics. You will ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant solutions that directly impact patient outcomes. The client a specialized health-tech company founded by industry veterans and IT experts focused on transforming pathology labs with AI. We are building a robust, high-performance platform that provides fast and accurate diagnoses to healthcare providers.

Requirements:

• 5-8+ years of hands-on software engineering/QA experience, with a focus on complex automation architectures.

• Deep expertise in TypeScript is required, writing clean, strongly-typed, and asynchronous code.

• Proven experience building advanced Playwright frameworks (handling auth states, network interception, parallel execution).

• Solid experience with Docker, container orchestration, and setting up CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for automated gating.

• Proficiency in SQL or NoSQL databases to validate data integrity and simulate complex data states (e.g., race conditions).

• Demonstrated ability or familiarity with using Model Context Protocol tools to accelerate development tasks.

• Excellent English skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build a maintainable, high-performance automation framework from the ground up using Playwright and TypeScript. Establish patterns (e.g., Page Object Models, custom fixtures) that ensure long-term scalability.

• Debug core issues such as memory leaks in the test environment, race conditions in the database, or asynchronous timing issues during high-traffic simulations.

• Configure and optimize Docker containers and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, isolated testing environments.

• Leverage Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools to enhance your workflow. Proficient in using these AI-assisted tools to boost efficiency in script generation and debugging.

• Define the comprehensive test strategy, balancing E2E, integration, and API testing. Negotiate technical trade-offs with Engineering and Product teams.

• Set the standard for code quality in the QA repository. Review PRs, mentor colleagues on TypeScript best practices, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
