We are seeking a driven Senior ANDROID Software Engineer for our operations in Skopje, with strong understanding of the complete life cycle of software development and willing to grow in the dynamic and ever-changing Financial Sector.If you see yourself as a full-stack developer and feel comfortable in both the frontend and the backend you will have the opportunity to work with us, on innovative projects and technologies, in a fast-paced international business environment, while developing your skills and competencies to achieve your personal goals and career aspirations.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and implementation of Android applications for EFT POS terminal platforms (primarily Verifone, as well as other manufacturers).
• Integrate with payment terminal SDKs and hardware APIs, including card readers, printers, and display interfaces.
• Ensure application performance and stability on resource-constrained Android terminal hardware.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliverables.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to best coding standards and maintain code quality.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and QA of Android applications deployed on EFT POS terminals, including collaboration on device-specific testing across hardware variants.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and implementation details.
• Stay current with Android platform updates, POS hardware capabilities, and relevant payment technology developments, integrating them into the development process where applicable.
• Serve as a mentor to junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements:
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, System Management, Information System Management
• At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Android application development in Kotlin
• Solid proficiency in Kotlin as the primary language; working knowledge of Java for legacy codebase compatibility
• Hands-on experience developing applications for Android-based EFT POS terminals, with direct exposure to Verifone platforms being a strong advantage
• Familiarity with various terminal manufacturers (PAX, Ingenico, Newland, or similar) is a plus
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools
• Working knowledge of C++ in the context of terminal hardware interfacing or SDK integration (deep systems programming not required)
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture) relevant to resource-constrained Android devices
• Awareness of PCI-DSS principles and EMV basics is a plus — deep certification expertise is not required
• Excellent command of Local and English language, both verbal and written
