Join Dailymotion’s engineering team to shape the future of video consumption on Android platforms. We are looking for a Senior Engineer to reinforce our team, focusing on our Google TV application and our Android Player SDK. You will work in a dynamic environment where technical excellence and code quality are key.

Role & Responsibilities

• Google TV App: Develop and maintain features for our native application on Google TV using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Player SDK: Maintain and evolve our Android Player SDK, ensuring stability and ease of integration for our third-party publishers and customers.
• Modernization: Drive the adoption of modern Android practices (Compose, Coroutines, Flow) across our projects.
• Performance: Optimize application performance for TV devices (handling memory, focus management, and remote control navigation).

Required Skills

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in native Android development.
• Tech Stack: Expert in Kotlin. Strong practical experience with Jetpack Compose, specifically for building complex UIs.
• Mindset: You thrive in a collaborative environment and are capable of driving technical initiatives. You care about API design and developer experience (DX).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ExoPlayer/Media3 or video streaming protocols is a plus.
• Previous experience building apps for Android TV or Fire TV is highly valued.
