(Senior) Analytics Engineer (f/m/d) Employment: Full-time 40 hours, unlimited, flexible working hours Direct supervisor: Director Data & AI Solutions Team: Data & AI Solutions Location: in our office in Düsseldorf or ​Hamburg, remote

Your mission:
Data Modeling & Analytics Engineering: Ownership of the design, evolution, and maintenance of modular, scalable analytics data models using dbt in our Snowflake data warehouse, with a strong focus on business relevance and reusability. Data Quality: Design and continuous improvement of automated tests, validations, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure high data quality, consistency, and availability. Business Impact & Enablement: Close collaboration with AI, BI, and other business domains to translate business requirements into robust analytics solutions and actively enable data-driven decision-making. Architecture & Innovation: Active contribution to the development of our analytics architecture (ELT pipelines, dbt standards, naming conventions, testing, documentation), while bringing in new ideas, technologies, and best practices—especially in an e-commerce context. Engineering Culture & Team Engagement: Proactive fostering of a strong analytics engineering culture through code reviews, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and constructive technical discussions. Continuous Development: Ongoing learning, experimentation, and knowledge sharing around modern analytics, data, and AI technologies to sustainably strengthen our innovation capabilities.

Your profile:
Education: A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a comparable qualification. Experience: Several years of professional experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence. Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt for analytics data modeling. BI & Visualization: Experience with Power BI or other BI tools for building dashboards and reports. Data Foundations: Excellent SQL skills and a solid understanding of ELT/ETL processes. Domain Knowledge: Ideally, experience in an e-commerce environment and a strong understanding of data-driven business models. Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills combined with a structured, solution-oriented, and self-driven way of working. Language skills: Fluent in German and English Collaboration: A true team player with strong communication skills who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping the entire team grow.
