Capital Markets Quants ("CMQ") represent JLL's innovative approach to Real Estate Capital Markets, leveraging cutting-edge AI and data intelligence through our global platform.
We are seeking an experienced quant profile with financial/real estate expertise and quantitative/data skills to join our Quant team and be part of the creation and growth of new processes, ways of applying CMG tech tools and quantitative models to originate and deliver insights that will help to maximize performance of our existing global business.
This role will focus on the development and continuous improvement of Quant Insights, which combine hands-on model development based on data analysis and productizing results via BI. We are looking for a versatile professional capable of managing the entire process end-to-end and can translate complex analytical insights into practical tools that drive business results.
You must possess an entrepreneurial mindset: creative problem-solving, ability to work independently and be a strong team-player. Good communication skills are necessary to explain business problems succinctly and in a structured way to our more senior quants partners.
Based in our Madrid office, you'll collaborate with diverse, global teams while maintaining the agility and innovative mindset of a startup within JLL's established platform.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate in creating data-driven insights for CMG leadership and strategic clients
Partner with business stakeholders to translate market needs into technical requirements and deliverable solutions
Prepare high-quality presentations of all types for senior management and external clients
Collaborate with Capital Markets Group teams globally to identify opportunities where AI can create competitive advantages and improve client outcomes
Design and develop AI and quant models that enhance our brokers' capabilities in deal origination, client advisory, and market intelligence
What We're Looking For (Do apply even if you don't meet all of them!)
Quantitative background: SQL, Python and Excel are essential. Databricks would be a plus
Prior experience in finance, real estate or consultancy will be highly relevant.
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information
Interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills with business stakeholders
Entrepreneurial mindset with creative problem-solving abilities and collaborative team approach
Fluent in professional English; Spanish would be a plus
