Position: Senior Analyst, Liquidity & Collateral Management

The Liquidity & Collateral Management team plays a key role in supporting Northleaf Funds across Private Equity, Private Credit and Infrastructure. The team’s mandate is to improve outcome for our investors through disciplined utilization of financing facilities and strategic liquidity planning to support efficient capital deployment across the Northleaf funds.

The successful candidate will report to the Vice President, Liquidity & Collateral Management and will work with other team members, internal and external partners to manage operational liquidity and credit facilities, perform reporting and forecasting functions and contribute to the continued development of our mandate by strengthening our core capabilities and supporting any emerging areas of opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:

Operational Liquidity Management

Collaborate with Investor Operations on day to day liquidity needs, assess borrowing requirements and recommend actions to be taken for approval.

Partner with third-party service provider to ensure accuracy, timeliness and completeness of scheduled deliverables.

Record and track loans outstanding, accrued interest and fees payable in the system.

Maintain process documentation for each credit facility and liquidity processes of each asset class.

Liquidity Reporting & Forecasting

Prepare and continuously refine weekly liquidity forecast for discussions, pro-actively flag key risk areas and provide recommendations to be actioned.

Partner with team members and internal groups to develop/maintain liquidity reporting, dashboards and suggest and implement new processes or process improvements.

Credit Facility Management

Continuously monitor and action on borrowing bases to optimize available capacity while minimizing fees.

Ensure all credit facilities remain in good standing by managing compliance requirements, tracking deliverables, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Partner with internal and external partners to support the execution and ongoing administration of new or amended credit facilities.

Qualifications

4+ years experience of asset management and private markets investments, with direct experience with credit facilities considered valuable and preferred.

Excellent academic credentials: an Accounting, Business, Economics or Financial degree or post graduate degree is preferred.

A professional designation in accounting or finance (such as CPA or CFA) is an asset, but not required.

Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable with automation or coding tools (e.g., Python, VBA) to enhance efficiency; experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is an asset.

Self-motivated individual with strong ownership, accountability and professional curiosity; takes initiative, consistently delivers high-quality, accurate work, and seeks to understand the “why” and leverage that insight to strengthen decision making.

Adaptable and forward-looking, comfortable navigating ambiguity and contributing to new or evolving areas as our mandate grows.

Clear and structured communicator who can synthesize complex information and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
