Reporting to the Director of Solutions Architecture, within our Products & Technology organization, the Senior AI Solution Architect will provide the opportunity to invest in new business models that leverage our knowledge and build AI solutions for the growing digital market. Each new solution focuses on data-driven platforms or other intellectual property-based solutions that leverage emerging technologies and new business models. Through the process of building new solutions, we foster a culture of innovation within PwC, extend brand relevance in the market, and generate new revenue.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of 

As a AI Solution Architect at the Senior Manager level, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Provide expert technical guidance on Gen AI tools, frameworks, and platforms 

• Design innovative applications and services that drive organizational transformation 

• Shape and deliver high-quality digital products to exceed client expectations 

• Actively support the definition, maintenance, and compliance management of Enterprise Architecture processes 

• Lead and supervise vendor developers to ensure successful project outcomes 

• Proactively assist Enterprise Architects in evaluating and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions 

• Engage in business development activities to identify new opportunities with clients 

• Conduct periodical code reviews to uphold best practices and quality standards 

• Continually improve internal development and design techniques, keeping documentation current 

• Grow personal skills and build your PwC brand in alignment with company and team strategy 

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve 

• Extensive hands-on experience implementing large-scale software solutions 

• Expertise in AI solutioning and strong knowledge of cutting-edge AI technologies, including LLM models (GPT-4, ChatGPT, Gemini, Llama, etc.) and Agent Orchestration Frameworks (Semantic Kernel, LangChain) 

• Proficiency with Azure AI Services, Azure Machine Learning, and a wide range of Azure cloud services 

• Azure certifications (Solutions Architect or Developer) and Microsoft Development Certifications preferred 

• Experience working in agile teams and delivering products using Agile methodologies 

• Deep understanding of cloud-ready architectures, leveraging infrastructure and platform services on Azure 

• Strong background in service-oriented, event-driven, and microservices architectures 

• Proven skills in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and virtualization 

• Hands-on experience with containerization tools such as Docker and/or Kubernetes 

• Proficient with software development and defect tracking platforms like Azure DevOps, Github, and JIRA

This newly created role reflects our commitment to growth and delivering distinctive value for our clients and stakeholders.

The salary range for this position is $137,600 - $187,600. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.  We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
