About the Job:

As a Senior AI SEO Analyst, your mission is to elevate the visibility, scalability, and ROI of Vendasta's client websites by combining advanced SEO execution with AI-enhanced workflows and data-driven insight generation. You will lead complex SEO initiatives, refine AI-powered tools and prompt templates, and collaborate cross-functionally to embed search best practices into content, development, and marketing processes.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy, technical SEO fluency, and the ability to identify patterns, shape processes, and mentor peers. You’ll help define how AI enables smarter SEO operations and more scalable growth strategies—while ensuring that outputs are ethical, accurate, and performance-driven

Note:
This role requires working in CST shift hours, from 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST, at our Chennai office (Work from Office).

Your Impact:

As a Senior AI SEO Analyst, you will:

Lead implementation of SEO strategy across high-impact pages including multi-location landing pages, product directories, and service hubs

Conduct complex keyword clustering, intent mapping, and internal linking optimization at scale

Own the SEO QA process for large projects, auditing site structure, crawlability, and content alignment

Partner with developers and editors to ensure implementation of schema, structured data, and page performance improvements

Build, test, and optimize SEO prompt libraries for tasks like keyword expansion, meta generation, SERP analysis, and clustering

Identify inefficiencies in current AI workflows and propose new automation layers or fine-tuned prompts

Analyze AI output quality, flag hallucinations, and create documented guidance to improve usability across the team

Act as a point of contact for AI SEO tooling feedback loops with product, R&D, or workflow specialists

Independently assess organic performance trends using GA4, GSC, SEMrush,SEranking and Looker dashboards

Lead performance deep dives to identify ranking drops, indexation issues, or content underperformance

Translate AI-derived or raw data into actionable, client-ready insights with strategic recommendations

Maintain and improve team-level reporting templates and internal performance dashboards

Provide mentorship and QA support to IC1–2 SEO Analysts and Associates

Collaborate with content teams, designers, and developers to deliver cohesive, SEO-first projects

Share SEO findings and AI workflow improvements during retros, huddles, and cross-team training sessions

Contribute to the creation of documentation, playbooks, and SEO education materials

What you bring to the table:

4–6+ years of SEO experience with a proven track record in technical, on-page, and off-page strategy

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Strategy, or a related field preferred

Advanced understanding of ranking factors, crawl behavior, and search engine algorithm updates

Expertise with SEO tools: SEMrush, SEranking, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Surfer SEO, GA4, GSC

Knowledge of structured data, Core Web Vitals, and SEO considerations in JavaScript frameworks

Experience scaling SEO across large or multi-location sites is a strong asset

Hands-on experience using and iterating prompts in ChatGPT, Gemini, Jasper, or similar tools

Ability to analyze, test, and optimize AI-generated outputs for SEO accuracy and brand relevance

Familiarity with LangChain or workflow tools like Zapier, Make, or prompt libraries is a bonus

Understanding of AI limitations, bias risks, and the need for editorial QA in automated content

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large datasets into insights

Fluency in interpreting CTR, bounce rate, conversions, keyword position volatility, and page-level performance

Proficiency in building visual reports and presentations that support strategic recommendations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and client-facing use

Experience mentoring junior team members or leading internal QA

Comfortable working cross-functionally to align SEO priorities with broader marketing and content goals

Understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), including content structuring techniques to improve visibility in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Bing Copilot, and voice search tools.

Proactive contributor to shared knowledge resources, prompt templates, and documentation

High attention to detail and analytical mindset for identifying localized information to impact highly successful SEO Campaigns.

Must possess strong written content creation abilities. Editorial and revision skills are an asset in this role.

Strong customer service skills are a must as the ability to build on client relationships are necessary for growth of the account portfolio.
