Artificial.Agency is seeking a Sr. AI Engineer to advance multi-agent, multi-modal systems through cutting-edge work on large and small language models (LLMs & SLMs). You’ll contribute to fine-tuning, deployment, and optimization efforts, collaborating with ML engineers, game developers, and platform engineers to deliver state-of-the-art AI systems for real-time, interactive environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Model Innovation: Fine-tune and adapt LLMs/SLMs using advanced NLP techniques (SFT, GRPO, DPO); prototype emerging methods; develop efficient on-device SLMs for edge environments.
• Deployment & Optimization: Serve LLMs using vLLM, NVIDIA Triton, or similar frameworks; optimize latency, throughput, and memory; implement adaptive performance strategies.
• Research & Impact: Track cutting-edge AI research; contribute to internal R&D; collaborate across teams to translate innovation into production systems.
Qualifications
• Preferably an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 5+ years in ML engineering with a focus on LLM/SLM fine-tuning and deployment.
• Expertise in advanced fine-tuning methods and serving frameworks (vLLM, Triton).
• Proficient in Python and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jax).
• Strong understanding of performance trade-offs (latency, memory, throughput).
• Passionate about translating cutting-edge AI research into impactful, real-world applications and products.
