(Senior) AI Engineer (all genders)

Your new role:
As an LLM Engineer, you develop solutions to integrate and optimize language models within the botario platform. You stay informed about the latest developments in AI research and support the team in evaluating model quality and efficiency.

The work you‘ll do:
• You monitor trends and advancements in NLP and AI research to integrate innovations from the field of large language models into the product
• You ensure that LLMs can be effectively used in conjunction with the botario platform in real-world applications for customers—whether it involves the latest, faster inference frameworks or cutting-edge prompting techniques
• You experiment with new models and architectures to enhance the chatbot's performance
• You assist the botario team and our customers in evaluating LLMs with respect to response quality, latency, costs, and other factors by providing in-depth analyses and valuable insights to enable optimal decision-making

The qualifications you need:
• You have excellent programming skills, are unafraid to dive into DevOps, and embrace best practices, with a track record of successfully completed software projects
• You enjoy working in a team and using agile methodologies
• You have hands-on experience implementing AI-related features in software products—from model training to deployment and versioning
• You are experienced with Python, microservice architectures, ML model serving, Docker, and related technologies
• Ideally, you have initial experience with the commercial application of open-source LLMs, particularly in low-latency contexts, combined with Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech models
• You are familiar with the latest LLM technologies and practices
• You have expertise in cloud platforms and containerization technologies
• You think solution-oriented and approach problems analytically and systematically
• You work independently and are passionate about AI
• You are fluent in both German and English, both written and spoken
