About the role

Gorilla Logic is seeking Software Engineers to join our Developer Productivity - AI Enablement team. This team’s mission is to transform software development at Gorilla Logic by applying AI to deliver step-change improvements in developer speed, safety, and customer impact. We accelerate software delivery by building and scaling AI-paved paths: end-to-end developer workflows enhanced by AI. You will prototype, evaluate, and productionize AI-assisted development workflows, tools, and training that make engineers faster, safer, and more confident in their day-to-day work. This role sits at the intersection of Developer Tools/Experience, applied AI, and DevOps. Ideal candidates combine software engineering with curiosity, autonomy, and hands-on experience in applied AI tools and agentic workflows.

Key Responsibilities

AI Workflow Development

Design, prototype, and integrate AI-assisted developer workflows such as automated code review, PR drafting, or test generation.

Build proof-of-concepts that demonstrate measurable improvements in developer speed or reliability, then evolve them into production-ready paved paths.

Experiment with AI agent frameworks to reduce toil such as running tests, triaging build failures, or responding to common questions in Slack.

Tool Integration and Enablement

Evaluate and integrate third-party AI assistants and IDEs within Gorilla Logic's developer environment.

Ensure secure, auditable, and reliable integrations that meet Gorilla Logic’s Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and Security standards.

Measurement and Impact Tracking

Collaborate with Analytics and Product teams to instrument metrics for AI adoption, contribution to speed, and safety outcomes.

Report and communicate insights that shape Gorilla Logic’s AI enablement roadmap.

Collaboration and Pilots

Partner with engineering teams to co-run AI pilots, collect feedback, and scale successful workflows into reusable paved paths.

Contribute to best-practice documentation and guidelines.

Qualifications

Technical skills

Proficiency in Python, Kotlin, Java, or similar languages.

Proficiency with AI developer tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI and Anthropic APIs.

Experience integrating APIs and plugins into CI/CD pipelines such as Buildkite, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred, including EKS, RDS, S3, and IAM).

Experience working with LLM APIs, prompt design, and retrieval-augmented generation patterns.

Soft skills

Comfortable with ambiguity and iterating in fast-moving domains.

Bias toward action, curiosity, and experimentation.

Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Collaborative mindset, able to partner with diverse engineering teams to co-create solutions

Experience

Experience: 5+ years in software engineering, developer experience.

Delivered at least one AI-assisted development workfl ow used by multiple teams

Demonstrated measurable impact on developer productivity or reliability metrics

Enabled other teams to adopt AI tools confi dently and responsibly
