Senior Advisor, Data Science - Machine Learning Engineer 

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our AI and ML capabilities. You will be responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing machine learning systems, including nextgeneration agentic and GenAIpowered applications. You will execute our broader AI/ML strategy and deliver solutions that drive measurable impact across the business. 

A key focus of this role is transforming our Customer Support organization through intelligent automation, MLdriven decisioning, and autonomous agentic systems. You will work deeply across data pipelines, model development, optimization, and production deployment to deliver scalable, highperformance ML solutions.

What you’ll achieve 

Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of enterprise scale ML solutions across Dell’s global ecosystem. Drive MLOps standards, build production grade ML services, and collaborate across engineering, product, and platform teams to enable AI at scale.scale ML solutions across Dell’s global ecosystem.  

You will 

• Own the full AI/ML lifecycle from prototype to deployment, ensuring the solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with AI-product needs. 

• Design, develop, and implement AI agents capable of autonomous decision-making and action. 

• Lead design and implementation of scalable ML systems, pipelines, and services.  

• Productionize ML models with CI/CD, MLOps, model monitoring, and automated retraining.  

• Build and optimize feature pipelines, training workflows, and inference services.  

• Partner with Data Engineering and Platform teams to enable data and infrastructure readiness.  

• Implement monitoring for drift, performance, and reliability aligned with Dell governance.  

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and data science teams.  

• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI/ML technologies (LLMs, vector search, GPU acceleration). 

• Own production incident response for ML systems (debugging, rollback, migation). 

• Enforce software engineering best practices (testing, versioning, code quality, reproducibility).

Essential Requirements: 

• 8+ years’ experience of applied science or complex software systems, especially involving deep learning, machine learning, LLMs that have been successfully delivered  

• Advanced experience with python, ETL pipelines (Airflow preferred), data warehousing concepts  

• Strong software development skills, particularly in Python, with experience working with AI frameworks and tools in cloud environments; Knowledge of ML, NLP, Information Retrieval, Recommender Systems and LLMs 

• Experience with container & orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes etc.) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure); Experience with training, fine-tuning, and applying large language models (LLMs) for agentic AI application 

• Proficiency in designing and developing multi-agent systems where multiple AI agents collaborate to achieve complex tasks 

• Proven experience running ML systems in production at scale. 

Desirable Requirements 

• PhD or Master's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Machine Learning or equivalent quantitative field 

• Familiarity leveraging graph-based techniques, semantic search, hybrid search systems, and implementing solutions that combine traditional IR methods with machine learning models to enhance search relevancy accuracy and efficiency. Familiarity with large scale data handling when dealing with telemetry systems.
