He aha te tūranga - About the role: 
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Senior Administrator to join the Northland District Leadership Team. In this unique role, you’ll provide essential administrative and coordination support to the District Operations Manager and leadership team, helping enable effective day-to-day service delivery for the Emergency Ambulance Service (EAS) across Northland. You’ll work closely with ambulance leaders, clinicians, community groups and colleagues across Hato Hone St John, building strong relationships locally and nationally while contributing to wider initiatives.
Key responsibilities include: 
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the District Operations Manager, including diary, email, and calendar management
• Support the District Leadership Team with coordination, reporting, and critical administrative tasks
• Draft and prepare professional documents, reports, correspondence, and presentations to required standards
• Coordinate meetings, district events, and travel bookings, ensuring smooth logistics
• Maintain organised filing systems and monitor office supplies, including raising purchase orders
• Act as a go-to expert for relevant systems and software (Microsoft Office, Adobe, Purchase Order System)
• Undertake other general administrative duties as required

What you'll bring:
• Proven senior-level administrative experience supporting leadership in busy, dynamic environments
• Skilled at juggling multiple tasks, managing diaries and calendars with ease
• Friendly, positive, and confident communicator, engaging professionally with stakeholders at all levels
• Experienced in preparing reports, presentations, and professional correspondence
• Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently or collaboratively across teams
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software
