The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely closures, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. This role requires a hands-on accounting professional who can independently manage month-end activities, support audits, and handle multi-entity accounting across domestic and international operations.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Execute General Ledger accounting activities, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate, up-to-date books of accounts.
• Independently manage the month-end and period-end close process, including preparation of financial statements and variance analysis.
• Review, verify, and process invoices and expense claims; post journal entries using Zoho Books.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and MIS reports.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring, including tracking variances and supporting financial planning.
• Coordinate and compile data for statutory and internal audits, ensuring full compliance with audit requirements.
• Analyze trial balances to identify discrepancies and pass necessary adjusting entries.
• Support accounting operations for multiple international entities, including coordination with external accounting firms.
• Perform financial analysis and prepare reports for management and stakeholders across India and international geographies (UK, UAE, USA).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support business and financial objectives.
• Handle additional accounting and finance responsibilities as assigned by management.
Key Requirements
• Inter CA qualification preferred, with completed articleship.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a B2C environment.
• Prior experience managing accounts for multi-country operations (UK, UAE, or USA) is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on experience in startup or scale-up environments is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books and proficiency in MS Office.
• Practical experience in Indian and international taxation, including statutory filings, compliance, and tax calculations.
• Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams and external accounting partners across geographies.
