Our Accounting team is growing, and we are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in managing and ensuring the accuracy of financial data, which is essential for driving the company’s growth. This role will focus on day-to-day operational accounting, month-end close execution, audit support, and targeted process improvements. You’ll work closely with our Director of Accounting and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.

What You’ll Do

• Perform various GL month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, cash matching, bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations

• Prepare Balance Sheet and P&L flux analyses and investigate any variances

• Assist in preparing internal and external financial reporting

• Support audit requests and inquiries from our external auditors

• Assist in creating and operationalizing new accounting policies and procedures

• Assist in enhancing current business processes, systems and documentation as part of internal control efforts

• Ad hoc accounting projects and requests, as needed

What You’ll Need

• 3-5 years of experience of private industry experience

• Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Accounting

• Experience in month-end close procedures and reporting, transaction matching, journal entry creation and financial statement fluctuation analysis

• Experience working directly NetSuite and leading process improvements within NetSuite

• Experience working with a modern finance tech stack, including systems like Ramp, Zip and Numeric

• Strong understanding of US GAAP

• Strong problem solving, analytical and organization skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills

• High level of integrity, positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and desire to collaborate with others

• Worked asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team

• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments, without sacrificing work quality

• Proficient with MS office tools, including Excel

• CPA or CPA equivalent

In select locations (including Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC, and Seattle), an alternate range may apply, as specified below.

• The typical starting salary range for this role is:

$85,000 -- $102,600 USD

• The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed is:

$94,000 -- $114,000 USD
