THE OPPORTUNITY
CONTEXT:
Our Finance department, international in scope (EMEA, AMER, APAC) and in full growth, is made up of around thirty experts. The person will be reporting to the Director, Accounting based in Pune.
ROLE:
Perform APAC region finance & accounting activities. Assist in the monthly and year end closing process for various Ivalua Subsidiary which consists of account bookings and reconciliations. Assist to develop and manage compliance and controls within local and corporate requirements. Processing of vendor invoice and T&E expense report and complete Payroll processing along with accounting.
WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
• Perform day to day accounting transaction activities related to bank, AP, Payroll etc.
• Processing of payroll for APAC region (India, Singapore & Australia)
• Processing of vendor invoice and T&E report for APAC Region.
• Support to monthly / quarterly / year-end closing
• Prepare and control Intercompany Transactions.
• Perform monthly Balance sheet and expense account reconciliations.
• Support to prepare monthly and annual VAT/GST, TDS and Payroll statutory compliance.
• Support to prepare all accounting documents for Statutory Audits and Tax authority.
• Investigate anomalies identified to determine root causes and offer solutions to improve the process.
• Drive and support continuous improvement by supporting management initiatives and developing & documenting new processes.
• Complete special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
YOUR PROFILE
• If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:
Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the industry.
• Knowledge of India GAAP statutory accounting requirements and procedures
• Knowledge of local Tax rules
• Accurate financials available, compliance with country Statutory accounting, Tax and law requirements; compliance with US GAAP accounting
• Good working knowledge of intermediate to Advanced Excel
• Finance Shared service experience and knowledge of Oracle NetSuite, ADP as plus.
• B. Com / M. Com/ Accounting/Finance bachelor’s/ master’s degree a closely related field or foreign equivalent.
