Description
This position is responsible to support the preparation and review of external reporting documents including 8-K Earnings Release, 10-Q, 10-K, and Annual Report. This person will assist the Reporting Manager with the timely completion of the quarterly and annual consolidated financial statement filings with the SEC (10-K, 10-Q, etc.) and various other statutory reporting requirements including:
• Preparation of supporting information used to compile financial statements, notes and MD&A
• Implementation and compliance with internal controls
• Coordinate with multiple corporate employees to receive necessary input and disclosure support and coordinating with the company's external auditors
• Review the company's SEC filings to ensure compliance with disclosure requirements
• Assist in preparation and review of quarterly and annual reports
• Assist with determining the implications of new accounting standards on the company and assist with associated implementation projects
• Help with research and document the company's position in regard to complex accounting issues
• Work in a fast-paced environment with significant deadlines
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
• Big 4 or Large Public and CPA preferred, or parts passed
• 2+ years public accounting or corporate internal audit experience
• SEC experience is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management is a plus
• Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities effectively in order to meet deadlines
• Multi-task on competing priorities which are deadline sensitive
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently in team oriented culture in a fast paced environment
• Possess the ability to effectively work with individuals from multiple business units and corporate functions within the Company, including executive management
$75K- $90K plus Bonus
