FORTUNE 500 RETAIL COMPANY

MUST HAVE RETAIL OR WHOLESALE EXPERIENCE

Title : Senior Accountant - Wholesale
The position is responsible for working with the manager of Wholesale Accounting to make sure all month end and qtr end deadlines are met.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Prepare monthly journal entries for stock-based compensation expense
· Prepare monthly journal entries for SG&A and COGS
· Prepare monthly journal entries for inventory and perform reconciliation to consolidated balance sheet
· Prepare monthly P&L analysis
· Reconcile sales from general ledger to registers
· Work with various departments in obtaining documentation for journal entries and analysis
· Assist with ad hoc projects from management

Minimum eligibility requirements:
· 4 yr Accounting degree required
· Knowledge of GAAP
· Minimum 5yrs accounting experience preferably in Wholesale Inventory not Inventory Control
· Experience in supervising staff and reviewing work
· Advanced excel skills a plus
· Hyperion a plus
· Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines

$65,000 to $75,000 plus bonus
