Senior Accountant GL (Payroll)

Saviynt is a leading cloud-based Identity Governance and Administration (IGA/IAM) solutions
provider. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior GL Accountant with minimum 5
years of progressive accounting experience, including expertise in general ledger
accounting, financial reporting and process improvement. This role requires a Basic
understanding of U.S. GAAP / IFRS with moderate analytical skills. The ideal
candidate will act as a subject matter expert for the allocated areas to ensure the
accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial data.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
• Own and manage the accounting of all the group entities for payroll monthly including booking the payroll cost, employee benefits allocations and various payroll account reconciliations.
• · Record and reconcile Sales Commissions / Deferred Commissions /Intercompany movements w.r.t Commission accruals and payouts on a monthly basis as part of the books closure process.
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items, discrepancies, and timing within the set month close timelines
• Perform high-level balance sheet and P&L analysis, including identifying missing accruals, month on month variances and providing insights to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Payroll teams to clear the open items in a timely manner.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities and ensure audit readiness with clean and accurate reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and schedules as required.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy

WHAT YOU BRING:
• CA or CMA fully or partly qualified are preferred
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and time management skills

• Experience in Tech Industry or a Captive Shared Services is highly desirable· Knowledge of tools such as Floqast, Concur, NetSuite or any other ERP of similar standards.
