We are looking for a skilled and detail-focused Accountant (CPA) to join our Fremont, NE team. This position offers hands-on involvement in daily accounting activities and requires close collaboration with internal departments and leadership. Candidates should be prepared to work onsite at least part of the time, as fully remote arrangements are not available. This role is ideal for accounting professionals with a solid foundation in US GAAP and a strong analytical mindset.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee general ledger management, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account maintenance.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to US GAAP and all relevant accounting regulations.
• Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to assist business decisions.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams on accounting and financial matters.
• Maintain organized records, internal controls, and proper documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within Fremont operations.
Requirements:
• CPA certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree preferred).
• 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Experience working in onsite or hybrid office environments.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic workplace.
Work Schedule & Location
• This role requires candidates to work onsite at least most of the time in Fremont, NE.
• Fully remote work is not offered for this position.
