The
mission of this role
Provide integral support to the organization, applying accounting principles and procedures and preparing accurate and timely reports and statements.
Key Responsibilities
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile journal entries.
Produce error-free accounting reports.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements following company closing procedures.
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
Assist with tax audits, tax returns and annual audit preparation.
Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies and issues of non-compliance.
Coordinate with logistics department regarding purchase orders, manufacturers and transport invoices and all related information.
Deliver proactive solutions and closes and keep company procedures updated.
Assist with the annual budget procedure.
Collaborate with controlling in ad-hoc reporting.
Initiate the dunning process in AR and work in collaboration with Sales department to solve them.
Requirements
Finance or accounting degree.
At least 5 years of accounting experience.
Knowledge of local taxes (VAT, Intrastat, salaries taxes…)
Advanced level in Excel.
Advanced level of Spanish and English is mandatory.
Experience with SAP S4 Hanna will be a plus.
