About role:

We are seeking a motivated Senior ABAP Developer with 7 to 9 years of experience in ABAP and SAP Fiori/UI5 development. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of SAP custom solutions and Fiori applications to meet business needs. You will work closely with Financial functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable SAP applications.

Requirements:
• Demonstrate excellent development, quality & delivery skills in scrum teams, working in short development and release cycles.

• Work with geographically distributed teams seamlessly.

• Exhibit learning agility by quickly upskilling on new tasks and concepts.

• Follow agile software engineering methods and develop software including coding, testing, quality assurance, and documentation.

• Supporting our customers in the adoption of the software.

• Contributing new ideas as well as providing a proactive and critical approach.

Tasks:

• Your tasks depend on the current backlog in each sprint and comprise the following activities:
• You will analyze requirements, clarify open questions and fully understand the details and boundary conditions of the new features that you develop.
• You will write design documents for new software features and review them with your scrum team.
• You will develop according to the reviewed design and carry out developer tests.
• You will support team members to test the new features by providing input and reviewing test cases.
• You will support your team members in the User Assistance group to develop documentation for the software.
• You will test the new software and correct it during the internal test phase (functional integration test)
• You will correct issues in the software during customer tests (solution acceptance test)

Technical Skills:

• 7 to 9 years of experience in SAP ABAP development:

• Classical and Object-Oriented ABAP programming

• Core-ABAP, ODATA, OOABAP and ABAP on HANA Dialog programming, RFC, IDocs

• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
• Storage & Databases –SAP HANA, AnyDB,

• Business Technology Platform, Restful API and Machine Learning

• SAPUI5 framework, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, JSON

• SAP Web IDE / Business Application Studio, VSCode, Node JS

• Development and consumption of OData Services.

• Understanding of CDS Views, annotations, and their use in Fiori apps.

• Knowledge on enhance the CDS views to add features to the existing application and POCs

• Exposure on UI5 & CDS view extensions.

• Knowledge of Transactional Banking is a added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
