Job Summary

Encora is seeking a Semi Senior Cloud Engineer (19193) with strong hands-on experience in AWS (mandatory) and working knowledge of Azure. This role involves building, optimizing, and automating cloud environments at scale. You will work with containerization technologies, Kubernetes clusters, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines within a modern, high-performing engineering culture.

Responsibilities and Duties

•
Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

•
Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters in production environments.

•
Work with cluster management and orchestration tools, including Rancher and Fleet.

•
Implement and support Continuous Delivery pipelines to automate deployments.

•
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

•
Collaborate with architects and engineers to drive technical best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

• +5 years in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.

•
AWS expertise (must-have) – hands-on experience with core services (EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, S3, etc.).

•
+2 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud environments.

•
Conversational skills in English

•
Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer in production environments.

• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and cloud security.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Kubernetes

• Cluster management/orchestration tools

• Rancher and Fleet

• Continuous Delivery (CD)

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Terraform

Additional Requirements

•
Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.).

•
Scripting skills (Bash or Python).

•
Experience working in multi-cloud environments.

•
Advanced English for communication with stakeholders.
