Role Overview

This role supports the growth of the Rocket Growth organization by managing key initiatives across the Hardlines category. The position focuses on improving product selection, strengthening seller growth, and enhancing the customer experience. By attracting sellers with differentiated products and leveraging Coupang’s Rocket infrastructure, you will help expand category diversity and support stronger sales outcomes for sellers.

You will organize and analyze initiatives that align with business objectives, identify improvement opportunities, and work with leadership and partner teams to drive continuous enhancements across programs and processes. We are seeking individuals who take initiative, work proactively in a fast‑moving environment, and want to grow their careers within Coupang.

What You Will Do


Plan new programs that improve selection and customer experience and identify issues in existing programs to propose actionable improvement plans.


Work with leadership and cross‑functional teams to introduce new programs using data‑driven recommendations, and define and analyze key metrics after launch.


Establish Standard Operating Procedures, policies, and cross‑functional processes to ensure smooth execution across related teams.


Conduct interviews with departments to clarify requirements, identify operational gaps, and propose process improvements.


Analyze operational workflows to identify defects and areas for improvement, propose future strategies, and validate the impact of implemented changes.

Basic Qualifications


Forward‑thinking individual who proactively explores new approaches and solves problems in a timely manner


Strong intellectual curiosity to examine existing processes and identify what needs to change in a shifting business environment


Ability to work with data to build hypotheses, validate outcomes, and develop clear recommendations


Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment


Ability to clearly explain issues using logic and data

Preferred Qualifications


More than eight years of experience in business, operations, planning, project design, project leadership, or execution; experience in retail or e‑commerce is preferred


Data analysis skills


Proficiency in both English and Korean

Document Return Policy

• This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.

• A job applicant who wishes to request the return of his/her hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above should fill out a “Request for Return of Hiring Documents” [Annex Form No. 3 in the Enforcement Rule of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act] and submit It by email ([email protected]). In such case, within fourteen (14) days from the date of identifying the receipt of the request, the Company will send the hiring documents to the job applicant’s designated address via registered mail. Please be informed that the job applicant is required to pay the postage on the registered mail.

• In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.

• The above paragraphs 1 - 4 shall only apply when the labor-related laws of Korea govern the application. They are otherwise not applicable.
