Self-Park/Valet Ambassador – Hybrid position is a dynamic role that combines traditional responsibilities from a valet attendant with the troubleshooting skills of a Self-Park Customer Service Attendant. This individual plays a critical part in the day-to-day operations across the multiple facets of the operation by assisting customers at entry and exit lanes, parking vehicles when needed, and ensuring a seamless professional parking experience for all. The ideal candidate is flexible, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a valet setting and on foot in the parking garages.
Ambassador Needed: $15.00 per hour (plus tips if offered), Monday-Friday, full-time, 40 hours per week (5 days/8-hour shift), 9:00AM-5:00PM
*All Encore team members are eligible for benefits after 60 days of full-time employment (Medical/Dental/Optical) and PTO. Also, a 401K match after 1 year of employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
-Greet and assist guests with professionalism and courtesy.
-Provide clear instructions for self-parking, validation procedures, and payment processes.
-Assist customers experiencing issues with self-park entry/exit equipment.
-Valet Park guest vehicles during peak times or when requested.
-Address customer concerns, escalate unresolved issues, and ensure timely resolution.
Valet Duties
-Safely drive, park, and retrieve guest vehicles in a prompt and courteous manner.
-Maintain key control and Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage and document as necessary.
-Uphold cleanliness and organization of valet area and key control stations.
Self-Park & Equipment Support
-Monitor entry and exit lanes to ensure proper function of gates, and kiosks.
-Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment errors (e.g., jammed tickets, card reader issues).
-Communicate equipment malfunctions to the supervisor or maintenance team promptly.
-Assist guests with using kiosks and processing
-Answering phone when needed with professionalism and troubleshooting mindset
Qualifications
-High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
-Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, must be over 18 years of for insurance purposes
-Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
-Ability Teir 1 troubleshooting skills of the parking systems.
-The ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
Physical Requirements
-Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
-Comfortable working indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
-Able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform light physical tasks (e.g., moving cones, directing traffic, placing out wind master signage).
Work Schedule
-May rotate between valet, and entry/exit lane support throughout shift.
