Security Specialist

The Security team at Stand Together seeks an experienced Security Specialist to support the safety and security of our DC-based facility, events, personnel, and operations. The ideal candidate brings strong protective services experience and excels at assessing risk, implementing security controls, and building trusted partnerships across the organization.

How You Will Contribute :
• Implement facility, event, and emergency security plans 
• Collect, analyze, and distribute risk and threat intelligence 
• Maintain facility access control and perimeter security 
• Plan and execute event security programs 
• Manage facility access control 
• Engage internal customers to strengthen security awareness and capabilities
• Maintain vendor relationships and perform quality assurance/quality control 
• Support security systems  
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and investigations

What You Will Bring :
• 5+ years of military, law enforcement, executive protection, or similar protective services experience 
• Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation measures 
• Strong understanding of physical security principles and the ability to translate them into practical security plans 
• Project management experience and strong communication skills
• Familiarity with modern security technologies and systems 
• Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect

Standout Candidates Will Bring:
• Experience in corporate security or complex operational environments. 
• Experience with non-profit or governmental operations
