Security Solutions Architect

Role/responsibilities:

· Produce architecture artifacts such as solution designs, that combine and integrate multiple technologies, from conceptual to physical architecture layers

· Ensure solution implemented aligns to approved design

· Serve as a technical leader to provide implementation and process guidance to project teams

· Collaborate across the breadth of stakeholders within IT, Cyber Security, Business Engagement, and managed service providers to address solution implementation issues

· Provide policy and standards based security consulting to internal teams

Technical Knowledge:

· Domain expertise in firewall management, firewall rule writing, and network routing and switching e.g. Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Juniper

· Knowledge of industrial control system protocols such as OSI PI, OPC, Modbus TCP, MSMQ

· Enterprise security tools such as privilege access management, threat and vulnerability management, and security incident and event management tools

· Authentication technologies such as Symantec VIP and Pulse Secure

Experience:

· 3-5 years hands-on experience as a firewall SME including implementing FWs in enterprise manufacturing networks

· Experience with resilient firewall architectures that provide continuity of service with multiple points of failure

· Experience in a large, multi-site firewall deployment

· Experience integrating network security environments with enterprise directories and other management tools

· Be a quick learner and adapt to the changing security landscape

Certifications:

· Industry certification such as CISSP

· Vendor certifications for firewall, routing and switching products

Duration:

· This position is for 1 year with potential to extend in support of a multi-year program.

Experience:
