Security Solutions Architect

In order to continue our growth and high quality of consultative solution design and delivery, we are seeking an experienced, Security Solutions Architect to join our team Blue Bell, PA (Philadelphia) office. This customer facing role includes the following responsibilities and skill sets:

Essential Functions

• Conversant in key technology trends and concepts with the ability to develop and relate customized business cases for a variety of industry verticals.
• Ability to speak to a full cyber security program addressing people, processes, policies and technologies through the lens of the IT enterprise.
• A fundamental understanding of the Governance, Risk and Compliance aspects of the cyber security enterprise is valuable but secondary to a strong understanding of network security, identity and access management, security operations, and how security teams must work productively with IT Operations and Application Development teams.
• Tailor the depth of technical knowledge for the appropriate audience in a conversational, story-telling manner.
• Deliver simplified, not simple, and relevant answers to decision makers while also having the ability to go deeper technically with the technologists on their teams.
• Coordinate and facilitate technical teams including other Verinext Subject Matter Experts, Vendor Engineers and Customer Technologists to design and integrate strategic solutions.
• Align with the Area Sales Manager and Technical Line of Business Leaders to effectively manage relationships with key solution providers including but not limited to software providers, cloud solution providers (SaaS and Infrastructure), hardware manufacturers and various service providers.
• Align with the Area Sales Manager and Sales Teams for strategic customer engagements across all areas of Cyber Security and IT Operations. For this role, knowledge of Development platforms is valuable.

Job Requirements

• Passion for personal development. It is not expected that you are a Subject Matter Expert in all of the areas below. One of the greatest opportunities in this role is to grow across all areas and demonstrate proficiency as a true enterprise architect.
• 10+ years of solution architecture design and implementation experience across several of the following disciplines:
• Networking (WAN, Campus and Data Center)
• Cyber Security and Security Operations including Threat Hunting
• Artificial Intelligence (AI), Analytics and Automation (IA, RPA, BPA)
• Virtualization, Containers and Automation
• Public and Hybrid Cloud
• Enterprise Storage and Data Protection
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Platforms and Processes
• IT Service Management

• Knowledge of services delivery best practices.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly gain trust and establish credibility in an inviting and friendly way.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Industry certifications in any of the above areas are valued. Networking, Cyber Security, Public Cloud, AI, Automation and Analytics certifications, in addition to relevant experience, will be given higher consideration.
