Overview
We are seeking an experienced Security Program Manager III to support industrial security operations within a federal contracting environment. This role will provide senior-level security program management support, helping ensure compliance with federal security regulations and supporting personnel, facility, and program security activities.
The selected candidate will work closely with program leadership and government stakeholders to maintain security compliance, manage security documentation, and support the administration of an industrial security program.
Key Responsibilities
Provide senior-level support to the organization’s industrial security program in accordance with applicable federal regulations and policies.
Support implementation and compliance with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) requirements.
Assist with personnel security processes, including clearance management and coordination with government security offices.
Support program leadership and government stakeholders with security compliance, risk management, and security program oversight.
Maintain security documentation, reports, and program records in accordance with government requirements.
Coordinate with program managers, contracting personnel, and government security officials to ensure program security requirements are met.
Provide guidance to staff on security policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Assist with security audits, reviews, and compliance activities related to government programs.
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
A minimum of 18 years of relevant professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
15+ years of professional experience in IT or security management.
Experience in a security management role within the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community, or a cleared contractor environment.
Strong understanding of industrial security requirements and federal security compliance practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
20+ years of professional experience in IT or security management.
Experience supporting or performing Facility Security Officer (FSO) responsibilities in a cleared environment.
Experience managing or supporting an industrial security program.
Hands-on experience using DISS and NBIS for personnel clearance processing and management.
Experience authoring or managing DD Form 254s.
Experience supporting Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance activities.
Experience supporting or participating in Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) security reviews.
