Security Personnel - Saskatoon (Aspen Power Plant)

Topa is looking for motivated Security Personnel to join our team in the Lanigan Area. 

Position Title: Security Personnel (Full-Time & Casual available)

Location: Aspen Power Plant 

Start Date: Immediate

Closing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired

Responsibilities:

Manage access cards through the security computer system

Camera Surveillance

Monitor the telephone, transferring calls and using the paging system

Complete weekly fire alarm testing

Complete weekly inventory and unit checks

Monitor access gates and parking lots

Greet customer and register visitors as needed

Provide basic first aid

Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property

Conduct preventive surveillance rounds according to established procedures

Provide impeccable customer service

Prevent fire, theft, and vandalism

Enforce the regulations in effect at the premises

Write daily reports and incident reports

Skills and Qualifications:

Valid Security Guard License

First Aid level C with AED

Professional deportment

Proactive, attention to detail, self-motivated and team player

Above average written, oral communication and computer skills

High School Diploma or equivalent

Driver’s license and access to a vehicle

Previous experience in security (asset)

Safety: 

              Attend and participate in the following exercises:

Safety meetings 

Tool box talks 

Site inspections
