We’re looking for a Security Operations Engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to make a real impact on our security posture. This role combines hands-on technical work with opportunities to guide and influence how security is embedded across the organization. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values diverse perspectives and continuous learning. Reporting directly to the Head of Security, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our security, mentoring others, handling incidents and shaping security practices that empower the entire company. 

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, maintain and improve security monitoring systems, ensuring broad coverage, effective alerting, and automated response.

Lead security incidents throughout the lifecycle, from detection to resolution, communicating clearly with both customers and internal teams.

Organize training, simulation exercises and external testing of company systems.

Enhance cloud security practices and support implementation of modern authentication and authorization solutions that improve access management and safeguard data.

Facilitate threat modeling sessions for new products and features, and contribute to business impact and data protection analysis.

Help develop clear and practical policies, processes documentation, training content, guidelines and technical advisory that are accessible to a broad audience.

Promote security awareness across the organization, tailoring messages to different roles and levels of expertise.

Skills & Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or IT.

5 years experience in Cybersecurity or IT security operations or similar

Hands-on experience with SIEM/logging platforms (e.g., Splunk, Elastic Stack, Sentinel) and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Ability to manage, triage, and drive remediation of issues and vulnerabilities.

Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automating security tasks and incident response.
