Role Overview:
The Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of safety and security for the Convention Center, ensuring the protection of guests, employees, assets, and property. The role will develop and implement comprehensive security strategies aligned with international standards and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
• Lead and manage the security team, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Oversee access control systems, CCTV monitoring, and perimeter security.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive security measures.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate security planning for high-profile events, VIP visits, and large-scale conferences.
• Liaise with local law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and government authorities.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct regular safety drills and emergency preparedness training.
• Monitor security budgets and manage security-related contracts and service providers.
