A day in the life:
The Security - Loading Dock Officer is responsible for overseeing the secure and efficient operation of monitoring inbound and outbound traffic, and ensuring compliance with security protocols and facility procedures specific to each site.

Shift: - Saturday - Sunday - 2pm-10pm

Salary: USD $16.50/Hr.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain a professional demeanor while assisting vendors, employees, tenants, and visitors.
Monitor and control access to client loading docks and adjacent areas, ensuring only authorized personnel are permitted entry.
Greet and verify delivery personnel, vendors, and contractors entering the loading dock area.
Maintain a visible presence and patrol assigned dock zones to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized activity.
Answer incoming calls and manage communication related to dock operations.
Enforce building and loading dock policies and procedures within established guidelines.
Inspect outgoing deliveries to ensure authorized removal of property.
Monitor security systems and alarms related to dock areas.
Prepare incident and activity reports as required.
Follow established emergency protocols and support evacuation procedures if needed.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid state-mandated security officer license or ability to obtain one.
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in security, preferably with logistics or dock-related responsibilities.
Reliable transportation and effective communication skills.
Professional appearance and customer service mindset.
Ability to write routine reports and complete logs accurately.
Familiarity with security systems, access control devices, and safety protocols.
