Security Guard (Weekends) - Alliston

Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1925 on a mandate that prioritizes providing meaningful employment for veterans and others committed to the well being of Canadians primarily in security guard and related services. Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services.

We are currently seeking a Commissionaire to join our growing team. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Conduct Vehicle Patrols

Conduct Foot Patrol of the buildings

Ensure no intruders are on the property

Ensure no theft of building materials

Respond to Alarms

WE ARE EXCITED FOR YOU TO OFFER US:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma

*MUST* Ontario Security Guard License

*MUST* Valid First Aid and CPR certificate

*MUST* Have the ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance (resident in Canada 10 years or longer, clean record, clean credit history) 

Ability to speak/read/communicate in English (fluently), ability to speak French is consider an asset

The ability to work alone while maintaining a high level of service to the client is essential 

WHAT THE JOB OFFERS YOU:

Job type: Part-time

Hourly Rate of Pay: $17.77 per hour

Hours of work: Saturday 0800 to 1800hrs; Sundays 0900 to 1800hrs

Location: Nottawasaga Inn - 6015 Highway #89 Alliston, Ontario
